El-Doray Children's House is on a mission to provide child care, education and learning support services to children and families through provision of quality learning experiences, resources and domestic support program.


To register with El Doray Children's House, kindly complete the 'pre-registration form', 'Book a facility tour' via our contact page or call us on 0806 280 2783 to become more familiar with our philosophy.

After the facility tour or interview, it is advised to inform us as soon as possible of how you wish to proceed, as demand for placement is high. We will try our best to accommodate all families to the best of our ability. However, should there be unavailability of placement space in a specific term that a family wish to enrol for, the child or children; we will be offering a wait seat for immediate placement as soon as placement slots are available.

Children will be conditionally admitted into the house within the limits of the available spaces, according to the date of the reception of the registration form. At this point, the parent will be officially offered a conditional seat and administrative and financial obligations will have to be fulfilled.

Registration Fee

Upon completing and returning all administrative requirements and the Registration Fee is receipted, parents will be sent an invitation to the child's Orientation Day.

A tuition invoice will be issued and must be settled in advance of resumption (payment terms and conditions apply). New Student first days are computer generated based on the registration applications and payment date. All hands will be on deck to receive your child as they join our community.

School Session

The children's house is open all year round, except on national and state public holidays. Our gates are opened from 7am to 5pm.

Please note, drop off and pick up times vary for full day session and morning session respectively.

Caution Fee for all Children

At the beginning of each year, a non-refundable reservation fee is requested along with the third term invoice. This fee serves as a guarantee of your child’s seat for the September term.

This fee serves as a guarantee of your child’s seat for the September term only. The fee is credited against a full-term September tuition fee only. The retainer fee is non-refundable and non-transferable to any other term.

Retainer Fee for all returning students

This fee serves as a guarantee of your child’s placement space for the new year. The retainer fee is non-refundable and non-transferable to any other year. It is paid at the end of each year.

If you wish not to pay this retainer, a seat is not guaranteed upon your return. A new application would need to be submitted, and the admission fee will be applicable.

Leave of Absence

The leave of absence policy will only apply to a child that will not attend the center for one entire quarter within a year.

You will need to notify at least one month before the start of a term, in which case the leave of absence will apply.

Should we not be notified at least one month before starting that quarter or the child attends school for one week or less, the full fees are applicable.

Payment Methods

We accept payments by company cheque, direct deposit, into the School’s account, details of which are found on the invoice. We strongly advise parents and sponsors to provide copies of deposit slips or transfer authorisations to the Finance office to help us identify your payment when it arrives at our bank, receipts will only be issued once the payment reflects in our bank account. All payments must include the full name of the student as a reference.

  • Invoices should be settled before the first day of school. An invoice will be issued detailing payments due and must be settled within seven days.
  • Late Payment: If the payment deadlines are not met as specified on the invoice, then the student will automatically relinquish their seat.
  • If you wish to withdraw your child from the school or change from full day session to morning session, a full month notice in writing must reach the school administrator.
  • El Doray Children’s House operates a strict no refund policy, fees paid will be considered as non-refundable and non-transferable. For the avoidance of doubt, this includes:
  • 1) No refunds/discounts in the event of any change to Government education policies.
    2) No refunds/ discounts for any personal reasons (illness, vacations, self-quarantine etc.)
    3) No refunds/ discounts for external circumstances beyond the schools’ control
  • Fee structure may be reviewed annually, notice of a reasonable increment will be given a quarter ahead. Please note that all fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Resumption Essentials

    Upon enrolling your child, you will be required to provide a copy of the Certificate of Vaccinations. Vaccinations need to be up-to-date. Infants will only be allowed to attend school if the vaccination process has begun.

    Orientation Day for New Students:
    Students are invited to an Orientation Day – The child spends at least 30 minutes in the school environment with their parents before they can officially start, in order to determine based on a short assessment his/her readiness for the house.
